Why are sesame seeds difficult to digest?

The dietary fiber in sesame is mainly contained in the hull, which in turn is difficult to digest. Of course, sesame contains comparatively much of it, because you eat a lot of small grains with hulls. The hulls therefore remain longer in the stomach/intestine and are often excreted undigested.

What can I do with black sesame seeds?
